AS SUCH, OR NOT

as such, or not  is a structured improvisational practice. The work is malleable; it has been performed with as many as 7, as little as 4. Sometimes there are walk on roles, for guests and friends. Over the course of 18 minutes, the performers assemble a drum kit and themselves, play the drum kit/pass through solos, trios and group phrases created out of spurts of joy, slumps of stasis, then disassemble the drum kit and exit from stage.
